"A Corrupt Society" By George Mysh

            A Corrupt Society
Throughout the entire history of mankind, difference has not often been accepted by the society as a whole. While the few who accept the difference, others despise and work to remove difference from the society. People are unwilling to change because they are just so used to their norm. Take Victor Frankenstein's monster as an example. This monster came into the world curious and kind, but the
look and size of this monster was all people needed to see to view him differently and more threatening. After many attempts to be friendly with humans, the monster came to a realization that no matter what he does, humans will still be scared or threatened by him. Another example would be the story of Jesus Christ. Around 30 AD Jesus Christ went around Jerusalem and began spreading his beliefs and Judaism and gained a small number of followers. The problem was that there were many people against Jesus Christ and his beliefs so Jesus Christ was arrested and crucified/whipped. After being crucified for days, Jesus Christ passed and the ones who caused his death began to feel sorrow as well as his followers. You could see how difference of religion in the society can lead to tragic deaths. Our society is truly corrupt because people have difficulty expanding into new ideology.
In this graphic, Jesus Christ is
being whipped after getting arrested
for spreading his religious
beliefs.

  2. Very insightful George. Isn't comfort such a charming and yet dangerous thing? Although I wonder if there can't be some hope in the story of Jesus. His teachings are still present in the world today and Rome fell a few centuries after his death. --Mr. Johnson
